STL Tree Guide is operated by Nfinier, LLC. This Notice explains how we handle information collected through this site and the broader STL Guide Network, including current and future category-specific or affiliated sites operated by Nfinier, LLC.

Information we collect

We may collect information you submit, including name, email, phone number, ZIP code, state, property type, project type, urgency, utility-line proximity, project details, consent choices, communications, provider interactions, estimates, hiring, completion, and feedback. We may also collect referral source, campaign parameters, device, browser, log, and site-usage information through hosting, forms, security, and analytics services.

How we use information

We use information to review and categorize requests, route a request to an affiliated sister site when another project category is a better match, communicate with you, identify potentially suitable independent providers, operate and improve the STL Guide Network, measure marketing and site performance, prevent abuse, investigate complaints, administer provider and referral relationships, maintain records, and comply with law.

How we share information

We may share relevant request information with independent providers that may serve the location and project and among Nfinier, LLC and STL Guide Network sites. Providers may contact you directly and may store the information in their own email, phone, customer-management, or business systems.

We also use service providers to operate the site and process information on our behalf. These currently include OpenAI, which hosts the site, and Zoho, which provides form and email services and stores submissions and related messages. We may also use vendors supporting CRM, analytics, communications, security, and operations. We may disclose information when required or permitted by law, to protect rights or safety, investigate suspected misconduct, enforce agreements, during a business transaction, or at your direction. We do not sell personal information for money.

Communications and choices

Submitting a project request authorizes communications related to that request, including provider follow-up. Transactional or request-related messages are separate from optional marketing. You may unsubscribe from optional marketing at any time. We may retain limited information, such as your email address and opt-out status, to honor that request. Providers may need to be contacted directly regarding their own communications.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer and document project requests and referrals, communicate with you, maintain consent and opt-out records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of record, the status of the request, and applicable legal requirements.

We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary for a legal claim, investigation, security matter, or legal hold. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, it may be deleted or de-identified, subject to routine backup and archival processes.

Your privacy requests

You may contact us with questions or requests concerning your personal information. We will evaluate and respond to requests as required by applicable law. We may retain information as permitted or required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of agreements, and legitimate business recordkeeping.

Security and processing locations

We and our service providers use safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. Do not submit Social Security numbers, bank information, payment-card information, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive data through the project form.
